Terror attack 'India stands behind the people of France'
India has offered help to France in fighting terrorism following the terror attack by ISIS in Paris.
Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju said that the people of India are no strangers to
the pain and suffering serious injuries by such insensible acts of violence as the country has
been a victim of terrorism for the last 4 decades.
"We share your pain in this hour of tragedy and stand side by side with you. We are
ready to assist the government and the people of France in facing this tragedy and
ensuring that such assaults on humanity do not recur anywhere," Kiren Rijiju said while addressing a gathering
in the French Embassy in Delhi. The event was attended by French nationals living in Delhi
and Embassy staff to mourn the victims of terrorism attacks in Paris on Nov 13.
