'Snapdeal faces flak for Aamir Khan's statement'
Snapdeal’s app has been downgraded by users on twitter and google play.

Snap deal came under fire from several users on Twitter, who threatened to discontinue their use the company's products and even uninstall Snapdeal's app.



The company's press statement said:

“Snapdeal is neither connected nor plays a role in comments made by Aamir Khan in his personal capacity. Snapdeal is a proud Indian company built by passionate young Indians focused on building an inclusive digital India. Everyday we are positively impacting thousands of small businesses and millions of consumers in India. We will continue towards our mission of creating one million successful online entrepreneurs in India.”



Internet users down-voted companys app on the Google Play Store  and commented that others to uninstall the app as well. "Uninstall snapdeal app #App wapsi Amir Khan plzz leave our country as soon as possible...(sic) no Deal with snapdeal just uninstaled snapdeal App,"
